About Us

Connelly Drywall had an unexpected beginning! In the early 1970’s, Founder Mike Connelly started working at his in-laws Drywall Company. Following their departure to another state, Mike realized his passion for the Industry, and decided to start his own. In 1972, Connelly Drywall was born. More than 50 years later, it is still a family-run business, with the next generation leading the way with the same dedication to quality.

Over the years, what started out as “earning chore money” turned into careers for his daughters and they began their journey in the Drywall Industry with their Father. Both of them worked on Drywall for over a decade and continued to be involved in the business over the years. Mike's influence extended to his nephews as well – two of them worked for Connelly Drywall before starting their own Drywall companies in Michigan and Tennessee.

Connelly Drywall grew rapidly over the years, and became a well-known name in the industry. The model was simple yet effective - focus on quality work, and word of mouth will do the rest. The dedication to quality work earned a loyal customer base, and a strong reputation that spread beyond the local area.

Today, more than 50 years later, Connelly Drywall is thriving, and continues to be the number one Drywall Company in Okechobee County, with his daughter and nephew leading the next generation of this family run business.
